 This was Joca's first outing on show. It was a wet and raining winters day in Auckland but the sun came out just in time for the show to start. Carrie from Charlemagne Great Danes 'showed' Joca in the ring and we stood ringside learning the tricks and tips involved in making your dog look his/her best in the ring.

Comments:
 This was our second outing with the little guy. At first we though we would be spectating from the sidelines again but a double up (Joca and his Brother Drum were needed in the ring together) Johan had to take Joca and Show him in the ring. It was really the best way to learn how it is done - dive in head first and see how it goes. After an awkward first round (top puppy dog) Joca came out on top and was promoted to the next round, Best puppy of Group (non-sporting) He also came first. His final event of the Morning (as it turns out) was Best puppy of Show where he was beaten by something that sort of resembled a kitchen mop. (Joke)

Comments:
 In similar fashion to the morning's events - Joca won the same series of awards although the judge and competition were different. It was nice to see some other breeds and especially more Great Danes to compare and compete against.
